Operations
Gratitude (continue)
The hundreds of letters we have received from troops (which can
be read in the Mail Call section of the website: www.operationgratitude.
com) attest to the positive and lasting impact of your kindness.
The enclosed Certificate of Appreciation is a small expression of
our immense appreciation for your efforts on behalf of OPERATION
GRATITUDE and our courageous American troops deployed overseas.
Our reach throughout
the military and civilian populations is broad: we have supporters
in all 50 states as well as in many foreign countries. The OPERATION
GRATITUDE website has an average of 53,000 hits a day, and we receive
hundreds of emails every week expressing interest in our program.
We have received increased attention from all media sources as a
leading Military Support organization. We accept names of new troops
daily, including personnel in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Guantanomo
Bay, staging bases throughout the Middle East and on battle ships
all over the world. We send a package to every service member deployed
in a hostile zone whose name we receive; their names are sent to
us by loved ones and comrades, but especially by the commanders
and leaders in the field who see the positive impact our program
has on the morale of their troops.
Our plans for
2007 are ambitious and exciting. We hope to move into our own facility
and we will again host two drives: The Patriotic Drive in May-June
(during which we will send our Quarter-Millionth package!) and the
Holiday Drive in November-December. Our goal is to send at least
50,000 care packages during each campaign. We hope you will continue
to support our efforts to ensure that more and more service members
receive our expressions of gratitude for their service to our country.
Operation Gratitude
is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Unless otherwise stated,
no goods or services were provided to you in connection with your
donation.
Thank you again
for your thoughtfulness and wonderful patriotic spirit. You are
an integral force in putting smiles on the faces of tens of thousands
of our troops. The brave members of the U.S. Military who receive
your generosity will remember your kindness forever. And we will
always be appreciative of your support and encouragement as a “Friend
of Operation Gratitude.”
With much fondness,
